Chronolog.no stores account, workspace and time-entry data only to provide the service. Time descriptions and imported rows are never included in application logs or monitoring.

Your controls

You can export your profile, memberships, shared workspace catalogs, and your own time entries, timesheet lock records, and related change history. Workspace owners can additionally export the complete workspace, team, time, lock, and audit data. Exports omit authentication secrets, invitation hashes, internal mappings, and Clockify credentials. You can also leave workspaces and request deletion. Workspace administrators can view and correct team entries as described when you join.

Chronolog keeps an immutable history of persisted time changes, timer starts and stops, imports, rollbacks, and lock changes. It does not audit page views, navigation, or filters. You can inspect history concerning your own time; workspace owners and administrators can inspect workspace history. Audit history is removed when its workspace is deleted and ages out of encrypted backups under the retention schedule below.

Account deletion is immediate once confirmed, but is blocked while you own a workspace. Transfer ownership or deliberately delete each owned workspace first. Encrypted backups age out under the retention schedule below and are not used to restore individual accounts.

Operations

Production data is hosted on a dedicated server and backed up in encrypted off-site snapshots retained for 30 days. No advertising or behavioral analytics are used.
